Gilbert S. Holzer

Gilbert S. Holzer is a co-founder and partner of the firm. Mr. Holzer graduated with honors with a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science and economics from Sir George Williams University (now Concordia University) in Montreal, Quebec. Mr. Holzer obtained his Bachelor of Civil Law from McGill University Faculty of Law in Montreal, Quebec, where he graduated second in his class. Thereafter, Mr. Holzer obtained his Bachelor of Laws from McGill University Faculty of Law, where he graduated first in his class. While at McGill, Mr. Holzer served on the Editorial Board of the McGill Law Journal and on the Moot Court Board. Mr. Holzer represented McGill University in moot court competitions and served as counsel to the Judicial Committee, representing the student body of McGill University.

Upon his graduation from law school, Mr. Holzer co-founded the law firm of Salomon, Holzer & Mager in Montreal, Quebec, concentrating his practice in civil litigation. He thereafter moved to Atlanta, Georgia and practiced law with the prestigious Atlanta law firm Arnall Golden & Gregory LLP. He left Arnall, Golden & Gregory to open his own general practice. Mr. Holzer later co-founded the firm with his son, Corey D. Holzer.

Mr. Holzer is a former member of the Bar of the Province of Quebec and a current member of the State Bar of Georgia. He is admitted to practice before all Georgia State and Superior Courts, the Georgia Court of Appeals and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia. Mr. Holzer has served as a guest lecturer in the School of Public and International Affairs of the University of Georgia.

Corey D. Holzer

Corey D. Holzer is a co-founder and partner of the firm. Mr. Holzer graduated cum laude from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Journalism, where he graduated second in his class in the College of Journalism and Communications. Mr. Holzer then obtained his Doctor of Jurisprudence from Emory University School of Law, where he was selected as a finalist in the school's Moot Court competition.

Mr. Holzer represents individuals and institutional investors in suits alleging violations of the federal securities laws, corporate governance and fiduciary laws of various states, various federal antitrust laws and consumer protection laws. Mr. Holzer has an in-depth understanding of the rights and privileges of investors and consumers under federal and state law and a strong desire to provide personalized representation and counseling to investors and consumers. Mr. Holzer continues to establish his reputation as a corporate watchdog and as a conscientious and effective advocate for investors and consumers.

Mr. Holzer is a member of the State Bar of Georgia. He is admitted to practice before all Georgia State and Superior Courts, the Georgia Court of Appeals and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia. He has been admitted to countless other state and federal courts to handle specific cases.

Michael I. Fistel, Jr.

Michael Ira Fistel, Jr. is a partner of the firm. Mr. Fistel attended Florida State University as a Florida Undergraduate Scholar and graduated with a degree in English Literature with an emphasis in business administration. Mr. Fistel obtained his Doctor of Jurisprudence from New England School of Law in Boston, Massachusetts, where he received the CALI award for excellence and graduated in the top 20 percent of his class.

Mr. Fistel's practice is devoted primarily to representing investors asserting claims for violations of federal securities laws, claims arising under ERISA, shareholder litigation, claims for breach of fiduciary duty in the corporate governance context, and complex consumer litigation.

Mr. Fistel is a member of the State Bar of Georgia. Mr. Fistel is admitted to practice before all Georgia State and Superior Courts, the Georgia Court of Appeals, the Supreme Court of Georgia, the United States District Courts for the Northern and Middle Districts of Georgia and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. Mr. Fistel has been admitted to countless other state and federal courts to handle specific cases.

Marshall P. Dees

Marshall P. Dees is an associate of the firm. Mr. Dees is a cum laude graduate of the University of Georgia's Terry College of Business, where he received a BBA in Management Information Systems. Mr. Dees is also a cum laude graduate of Georgia State College of Law, where he served as a member of both the law school's Moot Court Board and its Student Trial Lawyers Association. Mr. Dees also has served as a court-appointed mediator for the Fulton County Landlord-Tenant Program.

Mr. Dees has practiced in the areas of shareholder and corporate litigation since 2006. During that time, Mr. Dees has represented investors seeking to enforce their rights under federal securities laws and state laws governing the fiduciary duties of corporate management. Mr. Dees also represents consumers seeking to remedy violations of consumer protection laws throughout the country.

Mr. Dees is admitted to practice law in all Georgia State and Superior Courts, the Georgia Court of Appeals, the Supreme Court of Georgia, and the United States District Courts for the Northern and Middle Districts of Georgia.

William Stone

Will Stone is an associate of the firm. Mr. Stone graduated with honors from the University of Georgia Honors Program before completing law school at Georgia State University. While at UGA, Mr. Stone studied political science and history, published an honors thesis on U.S. and E.U. antitrust enforcement, and spent his summer and winter breaks from UGA working as a paralegal for McCalla Raymer, a large real estate law firm in metro-Atlanta. As a law student, Mr. Stone received awards for earning the highest grades in his Research, Writing, and Advocacy and Criminal Law sections, clerked for the Honorable J. Antonio DelCampo, externed with the American Civil Liberties Union, and interned with Webb, Klase & Lemond, a firm in Atlanta concentrating in complex litigation. Upon graduation from law school, Mr. Stone joined Webb, Klase & Lemond as an associate.

Mr. Stone has successfully represented consumers, shareholders, and businesses in class action, derivative, and other complex litigation.

Will Stone is a member of the State Bar of Georgia. He is admitted to practice before all Georgia State and Superior Courts, the Georgia Court of Appeals, the Supreme Court of Georgia, and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia. Mr. Stone's practice focuses on class action and other complex litigation, including cases involving securities, derivative, and consumer law.
