HOLZER HOLZER & FISTEL, LLC ANNOUNCES THAT IT HAS FILED A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT ON BEHALF OF INVESTORS IN VEOLIA ENVIRONNEMENT S.A.
ATLANTA, GA - - (Marketwire –January 6, 2011)) - - Holzer Holzer & Fistel, LLC announces that it has filed a
class action lawsuit in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York on behalf of purchasers of Veolia
Environnement S.A. (“Veolia” or the “Company”) (NYSE: VE) common stock who purchased shares between February 5, 2008 and August 4, 2011,
inclusive (the “Class Period”). The lawsuit alleges, among other things, that Veolia materially overstated its financial results by engaging
in improper accounting practices. Further, the lawsuit alleges the Company lacked adequate internal controls and was therefore unable to ascertain
its true financial condition during the Class Period. On August 4, 2011, Veolia announced that its prior financial reports for fiscal years 2007-2010
were overstated by at least €90 million due to fraud at the Company’s Marine Services business.
If you purchased Veolia common stock during the Class Period, you have the legal right to petition the Court to be appointed a "lead plaintiff." A
lead plaintiff is a representative party that acts on behalf of other class members in directing the litigation. Any such request must satisfy
certain criteria and be made no later than February 27, 2012. Any member of the purported class may move the Court to serve as lead plaintiff
